Life on Purpose: Kara Taeger

Kara Taeger has been a faithful part of our church family for 15 years. Soon after graduating college, Kara decided to make PCBC her home and immediately jumped into ministry, as an accomplished cellist leading in worship with the orchestra. “I love playing my instrument; it’s a very big part of who I am.” She has dedicated many years to our choir and children’s choir as a participant and an instructor.

Kara’s heart for service also led her to participate in several mission trips—from South Texas, to India, Greece, Rwanda and beyond—to work with refugees, organize VBS programs, host sports camps, lead job skills conferences, and to play music.

“Most of my deepest connections at church started in the choir and orchestra--to come together with a common purpose: to worship and draw others in to worship with us. It’s never a performance, it’s a worship experience for me.”

"What we have here is unique. PCBC is a loving and welcoming church that invests in its people—they pour into your life.”
