Pilate: The Indecisive Leader

This Palm Sunday message examines Jesus’ trial before Pontius Pilate, exposing how spiritual indecision can lead us away from truth. As Pilate questions Jesus in John 18, we are confronted with the same defining questions: Who is Jesus to us, and will we submit to His authority? Do we understand our identity as His followers? Will we allow His kingdom values to shape every part of our lives? And ultimately, what do we believe about truth?
Pilate’s wavering reflects the danger of neutrality — a choice that still carries consequences. This message calls us to move beyond hesitation and respond to Jesus with clarity, courage, and commitment, trusting that only He can bring the wholeness we need.
