This message from 1 Corinthians 15 invites us to see the resurrection not just as a past event, but as the beginning of God’s new creation. Jesus’ victory over death is the firstfruits — a preview of the renewal that is coming for all who belong to Him.
Rather than waiting passively for the future, we are called to live as resurrection people now. Our lives become part of God’s ongoing work to restore and renew the world, reflecting His kingdom in both what we do and how we do it.
This perspective reshapes everyday life. In our work, relationships, and communities, we have opportunities to embody the hope of the resurrection — showing that death is defeated and new creation has already begun.
