66 When day came, the assembly of the elders of the people gathered together, both chief priests and scribes. And they led him away to their council, and they said, 67 “If you are the Christ, tell us.” But he said to them, “If I tell you, you will not believe, 68 and if I ask you, you will not answer. 69 But from now on the Son of Man shall be seated at the right hand of the power of God.” 70 So they all said, “Are you the Son of God, then?” And he said to them, “You say that I am.” 71 Then they said, “What further testimony do we need? We have heard it ourselves from his own lips.”

3: How could your life change if you lived like you have already received all the acceptance you will ever need and desire in Jesus?
4: Read Luke 8:14-15 and answer the questions that follow.
- What specifically has been crowding out God’s word for you in this season?
- What would it practically look like for you to not only hear God’s word every day, but to cling to God’s word every day?
- What do you think the huge harvest is that Jesus is talking about, and why do we need patience to produce it?
5: What do you need to believe about Jesus today – truly?
6: How do you need to obey Jesus today?
7: Who can you personally encourage with the truth you received this week?
Pray
Lord, thank you for loving us like you do. There is no one else like you. Because of your great love, you endured so much on our behalf, and all you ask is that we love you right back. Forgive us for seeking acceptance in all the wrong places. One day at a time, teach us to live like we believe we are fully accepted in you, and help us to hear and obey your call to invite others to join us as we do.
