Where does hope come from? How do you get it? What does it look like (in real life)? Biblical hope is a bold and certain expectation that God will do what He says He will do. So like faith, hope has this maddening quality of the unseen- the yet to be. It has a future orientation. It’s why Paul says- “For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all.  Who hopes for what they already have?” Romans 8:24
