At the beginning of 2019, we embarked on our journey through the Bible, realizing that we have stepped into God’s big story of history, truly His Story. The redemptive Story of God.

The Book of Revelation is not simply the end of God’s story; it is instead the “end of the beginning.” Filled with images of battles and dragons, swords and horses, the Revelation points to a victorious King and His kingdom. This is the story of when fairy tales come true. It’s a real letter written to real people, in a real place and time, with real challenges. Mostly, it’s about a real Savior who holds the future in His hands.

There no better way to end our biblical journey than with the truth of eternity, a new heaven and a new earth. Praise God for the promises that our journey leads us to!

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” - Revelation 21:3-4
