Unlocking The Word

Unlocking the Word of God

9 keys to life-changing Bible study

J. I. Packer called the Bible "God preaching."  Every time we open the Scriptures, we should hear God speak to us.  However, for many Christians the Bible is a locked book.  We struggle to study it for ourselves and apply its truth to our lives.  This course will give any Christian the nine keys which unlock the Bible.  When we learn to use them, our faith and ministry will be transformed by the truth of Scripture.

You can begin preparing for our course in three ways.

One
Pray every day that God will reveal himself to you in his word, asking him to use the class principles to deepen your knowledge of his truth and your walk with him.

Two
Read and memorize 2 Peter 1:21, Hebrews 4:12, and 2 Timothy 3:16-17.  Read Nehemiah 8:1-8 and consider its applications to personal Bible study today.  Look over Luke 1:1-4 and reflect on its implications for the nature of Scripture.

Three
Buy a NIV Study Bible or a similar resource and a notebook for personal Bible study.  Begin the habit of meeting God every morning in the Scriptures.  Ask him to reveal himself to you in his word, and he will.
