Register Online for Sports & Activities Camps

Welcome to Summer Fun at Park Cities Baptist Church! In the catalog below you will find all the dates and details for the summer camps offered by the Sports and Activities Ministry at PCBC. We are looking forward to our best summer yet and we would love for you and your family to be a part of it!

Register for sports and activities camps from the comfort of your own home! Online registration begins on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 10 a.m. Payment by credit card.

If you have questions about sports and activities camps or do not have internet access, please contact Laurie Tharp, Assistant Activities Director 214.860.1570.

Cancellation Policy: Refunds with a $30.00 fee are available with notice at least one-week prior to the camp start date.

Our online registration software will only let a certain number of people begin filling out the registration form each minute. If/when you are placed in the queue to begin registration your spot will be saved and you will see a message stating the fact that you are in the queue.

It is imperative that you do not click on the link multiple times, close your browser, hit refresh, or hit the back button, as this will cause you to lose your place in line. Tech support has promised us that your spot in line will not be lost and that your wait time will be accurately displayed and updated.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Grab your hats and boots and join us in riding the adventure trail of God’s Word. Learn about the Bible through worship, crafts, stories and recreation.
Online registration begins March 12.

Time: 9:00 a.m. – Noon
Age/Grade: For kids entering Kindergarten through 6th Grade. (Classes available for younger children if their parent is teaching.)

Fish Camp

Pack your bags and get ready for four days of fun, crafts, sports, Bible study, Worship and “free-choice” track time. Online registration begins March 10.

Date: June 22 – 26 (Tue. – Sat.)
Age/Grade: For kids who have completed 3rd grade through 6th grade.
Location: Sabine Creek Ranch - Royse City, TX - www.sabinecreek.com
Cost: $335 ($20 discount for second child from the same family.)
Reservation form and $100 holds a place for you.

June Reading Club

Blaze the Tejas Trail through books, videos and dvd’s this summer with the Park Cities Baptist Church Library June Reading Club!

Thee Camp

Thee Camp is the pinnacle of the year for our students! We gather together about 300 strong each summer to build friendships and worship together at our camp – this year at Cave Springs. Online registration begins March 10. 

Date: July 12-17
Age/Grade: 7th – 12th graders
Price: $440 ($390 by May 1st)

Summer Cool Kids, led by Dr. Brad Schwall

In Cool Kids, kids watch “Cool Kids TV” episodes and then create their own Cool Kids video that shows the skills they’ve learned for being cool at home, play, and school. Each grade will focus on different topics related to building character, being good friends, being leaders, giving respect, showing responsibility, and having confidence. Kids in the class receive Cool Kids pencils, backpack tags, and a copy of the video they made.

Schools in the Highland Park, Dallas, Richardson, Frisco, Austin, and Tyler ISDs use the Cool Kids curriculum in guidance lessons and for character education. Dr. Brad is the creator, author, and producer of the Cool Kids program and is a Staff Therapist at the Pastoral Counseling and Education Center on Lemmon Avenue. www.coolkidschannel.com, DrBrad@coolkidschannel.com

Age/Grade: Completed 2nd: 9-10 a.m. Kindergarten-readiness class, entering Kindergarten: 10:15-11:15 a.m. Completed Kindergarten and 1st: 12-1 p.m. Completed 3rd: 1:45-2:45

Children participating in an art class at PCBC before or after Cool Kids will be walked to or from art by a Cool Kids teacher.
