Curt Hampton

Curt HamptonYouth Music Intern
Curt serves as youth music intern and is responsible for mentoring and leading the youth band as they aspire to lead others in worshipping God through music. He graduated from Sam Houston State University with a BBA is International Business & Economics. During his time at Sam Houston, Curt lived in College Station and served at Central Baptist Church in the music and youth ministries. After finishing undergrad, he set out to serve in North East Asia for two years where made disciples and attempted to plant churches. He also became aware of the need to minister to ministers. Curt then became passionate about pouring into those who are constantly pouring out and help people understand the reality of spiritual warfare and our ability to live victoriously in Christ. After returning from overseas, Curt began graduate work in the area of counseling at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth.

Curt came to PCBC in the Fall of 2009 and has since been discipling young men and challenging them to love the Lord. His motivation to disciple youth comes from a lack of intentional mentoring of youth in the church where he grew up, Curt does not want to allow this generation of young men and women to ‘fall through the cracks.’

Curt is originally from Ann Arbor Michigan and spent most of his childhood in Baytown, TX.
