David Huey

David Huey

Minister to Students

David is responsible for the direction of the Student ministry

A native from Memphis, David graduated from Mississippi College in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies and Philosophy, and a minor in History. He received a Masters of Arts in Religion in 2007, and a Masters of Religious Education in 2009 from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. After college, David spent 2 years as a missionary in Southeast Asia, and later returned to serve as Minister to Students in Jackson Mississippi where he was ordained in 2004. David moved to Park Cities Baptist Church in 2012 after serving seven years as Student Pastor in Bakersfield, CA.

David met his wife Amy in Bakersfield, and they were married in 2007. They have one son Eli. They love traveling, and he loves his Tennessee Vols, football, Macs, and hunting.

Jim Gribnitz

Jim Gribnitz

Junior High Minister
Jim is responsible for all aspects of the junior high ministry.

He graduated from Texas Christian University (TCU) in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a minor in general business, and received his MBA in International Business from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2001. He has his Masters of Arts in Biblical Studies from Dallas Seminary and has begun Doctor of Ministry work at DTS. Jim regularly teaches for Conclave youth ministry conference and has recently published a study guide for a DVD curriculum on Philippians, Song of Solomon, and Ruth, for pastors Matt Chandler, Mark Driscoll, and Tommy Nelson, respectively.

Jim began working at PCBC in the Fall of 2002 and was ordained into ministry by Park Cities in February 2006. He and his wife Nikki live in Dallas with 2 daughters (Hannah and Abigail) and a son named Seth.

Melinda Moran

Melinda Moran

Student Ministry Operations Manager
Melinda is responsible for the daily operations of the student ministry with an emphasis on event planning, financial accounting and coordination of all office functions.

Melinda graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in 1994 with a BA degree. She also graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in religious education in 1996.

Melinda joined the staff at Park Cities in December of 1997. She is married to Skip and they have two daughters.

Erin Edwards

Erin Edwards

Girls' Minister
Erin is responsible for all aspects of the Girls’ Ministry. Erin is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and will graduate in December of 2010. She graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (UMHB) in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Christian Studies. While in College Erin was the Internal Vice President of the Student Government and served on the committee for UMHB’s Freshman Orientation. She also was able to participate in numerous mission trips including a trip with Go Now Missions to Scotland.

Erin has a passion for ministering to girls and helping them to truly find their identity in Christ. She originally was an intern here in the summer of 2007 and feels truly blessed that God has called her back to serve in the ministry at Park Cities again.

Student Ministry Interns

Natalie Federick

Natalie Frederick

Junior High Girls Intern
Natalie ministers with the junior high girls at PCBC. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Ministry Leadership with a concentration in Youth Ministry. She has served as a lead worshipper for several youth groups around DFW and at The University of North Texas’ Baptist Student Ministry. However, the Lord has been continually stirring a passion in her heart for teenage girls. Her desire is to point girls to the cross and discover who they are in Christ. When Natalie is not at PCBC or school she can most likely be found behind a camera lens or at a Dallas coffee shop reading, listening to local musicians or playing along side them.


 

Paul Joslin

Paul is the intern for the high school boys. He graduated from John Brown University with a Bachelor of Science in Youth Ministry and a minor in Biblical and Theological Studies. He has been with Park Cities since 2009, save for a brief hiatus to complete his degree at JBU and a summer spent in Rapid City, South Dakota serving as the Site Director for Youthworks! Inc.. In 2011 he married his high school sweetheart and best-friend Steffi. They both have a passion for teaching, and showing Christ’s love to students going through the many challenges that high school students face.

 TJ Marrow

T.J. Marrow

Junior High Boys Intern
T.J. is responsible for working with the boys in the junior high ministry at PCBC. He graduated from Wayland Baptist University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and minors in Religion and Spanish. While at Wayland he served on the Recreation Team in the summer of 2004, the BSM Leadership team, and was a youth minister in Earth, TX from 2006-2008. He also went on 2 mission trips to Juarez, Mexico and Durango, Mexico.
T.J. began working at PCBC in September 2009 and is pursuing his Master of Divinity with a concentration in Student Ministry at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He lives in Fort Worth and plans on graduating in May 2012.
