Search Committee Update (09/18/09)

The Committee is several weeks into the research phase of our search. We are working individually and in teams to gather information about various candidates, and we are meeting weekly to discuss the findings with each other.

The internet allows us to gather a great deal of information about candidates and their churches. It also allows us to listen to sermons and see worship services. Because so much information is available, our search is capable of being broad and deep.

We began with a good list, 80 names, and we are working steadily to bring this down to a much shorter list.

We ask for your continued prayers for wisdom and patience as we seek to find the Pastor whom the Lord would have for us.
