Dr. Roddy Willis

Dr. Roddy Willis joined the Park Cities staff in 2011 as the Associate Minister of Sports Outreach and Associate Minister of Preteens.
Roddy hails from the suburbs of Washington D.C. He received his undergraduate degree from Cedarville University in Ohio in 2001. In 2005, Roddy completed a Th.M. at Dallas Theological Seminary with an emphasis in Historical Theology. He completed a Ph.D. in 2011 at the University of North Texas and Dallas Theological Seminary.
Prior to Park Cities, Roddy served in full-time ministry for over 10 years with a focus on children's ministry and family life ministry. His ministry philosophy was formatively shaped during his time on staff at Fellowship Church in Grapevine, TX and Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, TX. Roddy's passion is for Jesus to omnipotently and infinitely glorify the Father through the Holy Spirit's ministry so that all people would know, grow, and show Christ.
Roddy is married to Attorney Raven Willis. Their son, Roderick C. Willis III, was born in 2008. Roddy enjoys playing and coaching soccer, Bible translation, working out, conducting educational research to close the participation gap which exists among underrepresented populations in higher education, and all things Mac [Apple Inc].
