Robert C. Herrera
Minister of Community Care
Robert C. Herrera is the Minister of Community Care at Park Cities Baptist Church. Bob’s main purpose is to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need or hurting in our church and in our community. Bob is also responsible for missionaries who are coming to Dallas on furlough, and coordinating and maintaining our 3 mission houses.
Before assuming this position, Bob retired after 35 years with Texas Instruments where he served in management as a chemical engineer.
He and his wife Lucille have been active members of Park Cities since 1968. Lucille, who is retired from Southern Methodist University where she was a Professor in the Language Department, is also deeply involved in various ministries at PCBC. The Herrera’s have two sons, Jim and his wife Brenda, and their children Brandon and Brittany who are also active PCBC members. Andre and his wife, Martha, reside in Carmel, California.
