A ministry for people 50 years old and older at Park Cities Baptist Church.

Bible Study Classes

Sunday Morning
9:20 and 10:50 a.m.
We have men’s classes, women’s classes, and co-ed classes for 50+ers, ages 50 to 100.  Bible study options include eleven departments with over eighteen different classes to choose from.  A variety of Bible-based curriculum is studied and taught by excellent, well-trained teachers.

Weekday Men's and Ladies' Bible Studies
Scheduled throughout the week during the day and evening.
 

In-Home Ministry

Monthly newsletters and personal visits provide social, emotional and spiritual support for those who are no longer able to attend church.

Activities

Cultural, Educational and Leisure Activities

Friday Fest Luncheon/Dinners
On the 3rd Friday of each month, provide a great time of fellowship, a variety of entertainment, and a wonderful meal.

Monthly Day Trips
Local outings to museums, shops, restaurants and other points of interest are a favorite.

Traveling
From trips across the state of Texas and through the United States, our 50+ers enjoy traveling together.

Movie Days
Each month (4th Thursday afternoon at 1:30) include a classic movie, popcorn and soft drink.

Quarterly Game Days/Evenings
Include a light buffet dinner and lots of fun over 42, Bridge, Chicken Foot and other games.

A 50+ choir
Meets every Monday evening from 6:00 to 6:45 in the Choral Hall.  Join us for a great time of singing and fellowship.  A great voice is not required.

Staying Fit
Exercise classes happen each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning in our gym, led by trained and certified leaders.  It’s fun to exercise together.

Seminars
Information on interests and needs of 50+ers, are held throughout the year.  From Medicare to Makeovers, 50+ers enjoy continuing education.

Some of the other special events that happen at Park Cities Baptist Church for seniors include an Annual Old Fashioned Hymn Sing, Winter Bible Conference, and flu shot day.

The Annual Retreat is a highlight of the year.  Gifted Bible teachers, special musicians, various retreat centers, and a variety of activities are featured each year and enjoyed by many PCBC members and guests.
 

Ministries

PCBC 50+ers are active in many mission opportunities, short-term and ongoing,  throughout the metroplex and around the world.  From tutoring children to handing out groceries to teaching someone to speak English to going to Cuba, 50+ers are making a difference in our community and world.
