Where is The Prayer Room be located?
The campus component of The Prayer Room will be located in the Reed Building, Room 101A. The virtual component is located anywhere individuals have access to a computer or phone with internet capability.
What are The Prayer Room’s operating hours?
Campus hours: Security on-site during all operating hours
- Monday: 7 am - 8 pm
- Tuesday: 7 am - 8 pm
- Wednesday: 7 am - 9 pm
- Thursday: 6 am - 8 pm
- Friday: 7 am - 8 pm
- Saturday: 8 am - 12 pm
- Sunday: 12 pm - 1 pm
Virtual hours: 24 hours, 7 days a week
Who can serve as an intercessor?
Any adult church member who has received training may serve as an intercessor. There will be guidelines for church members under 18 years of age.
How much training is required and how do I receive training?
Individuals will receive initial training of 1 ½ to 2 hours in a class held on campus. Contact Barbara Loest for more information.
As an intercessor, what am I committing to do?
Intercessors will commit to pray for a designated hour each week until they resign from their commitment. If you are unavailable to pray in a given week for any reason, a list of substitute intercessors will be available.
How do I sign-up to serve as an intercessor?

Can one or more intercessor pray together?
Yes, intercessors can pray with others, if they have all received training and are on the schedule. On campus, families and friends may pray together. An unlimited number of intercessors may pray virtually during any given hour.
What is the difference between praying on campus or virtually from another location?
The main difference between praying on campus and virtually is location. However, individuals praying on campus will have the opportunity to answer The Prayer Line and pray directly with callers seeking prayer.
