Missions Core Values
Through the years, it has become clear to us how God wants to use our church for His glory. We believe God is calling us to concentrate on three key areas in our mission work:
Acts of compassion toward others.
We work with orphans, provide clean water, distribute food and clothing, improve substandard housing, and support medical clinics and microloan projects. These efforts build a foundation on which we develop lasting relationships with people.
Evangelism and church planting.
We are very intentional about sharing the Gospel and seeing people come to Christ wherever we go. We have used The Jesus Film, large crusades, local church partners, one-on-one evangelism and other tools to reach people for Christ. We also have a passion to establish churches that, in turn, plant other churches.
Education and leadership training.
For many years, we have been deeply involved in training church leaders. This has included providing seminary training for pastors, discipleship tools for new believers, encouragement and training for house-church leaders, and language-specific discipleship materials. We support seminaries in the United States and around the world and provide training for church planters, pastors and students who are called to ministry.
These three core values helps direct our involvement in specific target regions and our metrics for success on our short term mission experiences.
