Jack Martin
Minister of Pastoral Care
Dr. Jack Martin is the Minister of Pastoral Care. He came to Park Cities Baptist Church in March 1998. His pastoral care responsibilities include ministering to those in hospitals, visiting "in-home" members, coordinating bereavement services, and overseeing counseling needs. He is also involved in senior adult ministries and teaches a "PrimeTime" class each Sunday.
Jack received a Master of Divinity degree, a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Counseling, and a Ph.D. in Psychology and Old Testament Studies - all from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He has served in Youth for Christ and in churches in Houston, Lewisville and Plano, Texas, as well as at the Southern Baptist Radio and Television Commission in Fort Worth.
Jack's passion is to magnify the Good News of Jesus Christ. His desire is to provide a caring presence in the midst of crisis situations and to reflect Jesus Christ to those who are in need of assurance, hope, and encouragement.
Jack is married to Melody and they live in Dallas.
