Internationals

Mission Statement

The department's purpose is to minister to the spiritual needs of the international members of the greater Dallas community. This is done by demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ through friendship and caring. In addition, the ministry affirms the individuality and eternal worth of every person, and teaches truths from the Bible, which reveal whom God and Jesus Christ are, and what Christians believe.

The ministry also strives to introduce internationals to life in the United States using lessons about history, culture and current events through conversational English, English as a second language (ESL) and Bible study classes.

Since 1968, people from more than 90 countries have participated in the church's ministry to internationals who are living, working or studying in Dallas.
