Missions Giving

PCBC has a legacy of mission mindedness. The members of our church family are generous in their support of mission causes in our city and throughout the world. Below are some statistics from the fiscal year ending June 30, 2005.

How can you invest in this legacy?

There are several ways to support mission causes through PCBC.

Support the Budget
Our church’s mission budget for fiscal 2005-2006 is $1,412,650 or nearly 14.5% of the church’s overall budget. Your tithes and offerings to the general church budget support missions involvement through PCBC.

PCBC Unified Mission Offering
This offering supports worldwide-mission-causes through the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship Global Mission Offering, the International Mission Board Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, the Annie Armstrong Mission Offering for National Missions, the Mary Hill Davis State Mission Offering, the Gladys Moore Local Mission Offering and hunger ministries in Dallas and throughout the world. Use the gold Missions Offering Envelope and check PCBC Unified Mission Offering.

Designated Gifts
Members of our church support a variety of mission partnerships and projects through designated gifts. Examples include:

  • Hurricane Relief Fund – assistance for displaced families, destroyed churches and relief efforts relating to the recent hurricanes
  • Cuba Ministry – supporting three sister churches
  • Orphan Ministry – in Guatemala, Kenya and Russia
  • Homeless and benevolent ministries
  • Vickery – ESL, mentoring, outreach and language ministries in the
    Vickery Meadow neighborhood
  • South Texas Ministry – outreach and church planting in the colonias of South Texas

Use the Gold Mission Offering or Pink Offering Envelope and note the specific mission project you wish to support.
