Committee Membership Nominations

Standing Committees are a vital part of our ministries at Park Cities Baptist Church as we take the message of Christ to our community and the world.

The Committee on Committees is seeking nominations from the church body for service on a standing committee of the church. These committees are: Activities, Childhood Education, Communications, Finance, Ministry Discovery, Ministry Partnership, Missions, Personnel, Prayer, Properties & Services, Stewardship, and Worship.

Nominations must include the name of the nominee, reasons for your nomination, and your name. Nominations do not require a specific form. You may return nomination(s) during the offering in any worship service, leave it at the receptionist’s desk, mail it to the church in care of the Committee on Committees, or by filling out the form below.

As you make your nominations, please consider these criteria for committee service:

• PCBC membership for a minimum of one year
• PCBC church participation in Worship and Sunday School as demonstrated by Sunday attendance of at least 50% on an annual basis
• Stewardship as shown by a consistent pattern of systematic and sacrificial giving to God through Park Cities Baptist Church. For committee service, contributions given should be equal to or more than the average amount given per individual or family unit to the operating budget of PCBC. This giving amount is determined by the Stewardship Committee and may be obtained through the PCBC financial office.

These are guidelines that will be used by the Committee on Committees to provide consistent evaluation of member’s active commitment and support of PCBC. Individual exceptions to these guidelines will be reviewed by the Committee if a member is identified to serve on a Standing Committee but does not meet each of the above criteria.
