Brian Newman
Minister of Married Adults
Dr. Brian Newman is the Minister of Married Adults. He came to Park Cities after serving as the Minister of Education at First Baptist Church in Allen. Before that he worked as a licensed professional counselor as well as a licensed marriage and family therapist.
A native of Alabama, Brian received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alabama. After earning his Master of Arts degree from Grace Theological Seminary, he did graduate work at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy from Oxford Graduate School.
Brian has co-authored over 10 books including: Passages of Marriage, The Father Book, Receiving Love, and The Man Within. He has contributed to several publications and has been a guest on numerous radio and television programs including Focus on the Family.
Brian is married to Dr. Deborah Newman, a licensed marriage and family therapist. They have two children, Rachel and Ben.
