Asia
The ends of the earth ministry represents places that are closed to the gospel and where there are few, if any, believers. After much prayer, we have identified the state of Assam in northeast India and the country of Bangladesh as areas where we will focus our efforts. We are still in the initial stages of this program, but our goal is to support the work there by funding special projects through our partners, encouraging people to pray, and sending PCBC members to team with the churches there.
What we do: Spread the gospel to the village communities in Northeast India and Bangladesh and develop indigenous leadership that will perpetuate developing house churches. We also work to empower the poor through literacy programs, schools for children, micro business loans, healthcare and clean water solutions. In India we work with East-West Ministries and the International Mission Board to begin reaching into northeast India where an effective church-planting movement is under way. In Bangladesh we work with the International Mission Board and Gospel for Muslims led by Abraham and Amy Sarker, PCBC members, who help lead the charge to spread the Gospel in this region.
How you can be involved: Pray for the people and the areas of emphasis. Pray for our teams that go to this region throughout the year and that they would be led to find the man of peace when they do door to door evangelism (Luke 10). Go on a short term mission trip to this region of the world and participate in sharing the gospel and in humanitarian aid projects.
